The Township of Marlboro New York is situated on the border of Orange and Ulster Counties with the Hudson River on its eastern most boundary. It is immediately north of the Town of Newburgh. Many people have chosen Marlboro because of its easy commute. It is half way between the Mid-Hudson Bridge and Poughkeepsie, and the Beacon-Newburgh Bridge, affording easy travel to I-84, the Thruway and all points East, West, North and South. It is seeing a tremendous building boom for these reason, and it is more affordable than it's Dutchess County neighbor across the River. It is managing to retain its rural home town feel while allowing development to take place on a controlled basis. Apple orchards, horse farms, and wineries abound in the Town of Marlboro.
